Tag...your it!

I got tagged by Anika!

1. If money were no object, what would you be doing with your life? I think I would spend a lot of time travelling the world, especially around Europe. And if I was super rich I would love to donate money to my favorite children's charities ( I know this sounds cheesy but Im serious, kids are very important to me). And then I would probably continue to teach and volunteer with children. Then I would want to be a stay at home mom, at least until my kids were in school full time then I would go back to teaching.

2. Money is just that - an object, so why aren't you doing it? Well Im trying to do some of it on a smaller scale. I am planning a backpaking trip to Europe with Shippy this summer and I do work with kids. I just dont have the extra money to give away. And when I have my own kids one day I hope my husband makes enough that I can stay home for awhile.

3. Whats better, horses or cows? Horses! Even though I have been bitten twice and stepped on once. I volunteered for this riding place that took kids with special needs on horse back rides, it was great. But I really do love black and white milk cows too. They are so cute, I just want to hug them. Especially the baby cows....awwww baby cows.

4. What do you think the secret to happiness is? Hmmm, well dont you think if I knew the answer to that I would be happy all the time? No really, I think about that quite a bit and it makes me think of the Buddism (sp?). I think that when we learn not to judge our happiness by possesions and status we would be able to appreciate the more simple things in life. Family and friends are more important than a fancy car and big house but those things are nice too so Im not enlightened yet...

5. When was the last time you had a dream that you either remember well or did not want to awake from? Can you share a bit? I dream all the time. Its crazy and vivid. They are usually way too confusing to try to explain to someone and they change scenes in my head all the time. But I do remember that I had a dream about the little girl that I was working with, I miss her already. She was standing next to all these big kids on a playground and they were bumping into her and almost knocking her over and I was trying to get to her and pick her up because she is so tiny and then I woke up before I could get to her.

6. When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a firefighter or a teacher. I am one and working on the other.

7. Complete this statement: Love is...Never having to say ... I will change for you. I feel that the person you are with should love and accept you for who you are. I also liked Anika's about not liking who you are when you are with them . I have been there too.

8. Can you tell a good story? (write one!) No...really I cant. Im not a good writer when it comes to being creative. I write good reports and essays and thats it. Sometimes I can come up with good ideas but I suck at dialogue.

Ok I read through your post and said to myself "I would like to be tagged for questions like this". I got down to the end of the post and found that you had tagged me anyway so that made my day, well maybe hour, no wait ... second. Yes that's it, second! hahahaha.

1. If money were no object, what would you be doing with your life?
Firstly I would buy a cottage or an old building (possibly an old farm house) with some land around it.
I would do alot of charity work especially for Cancer Research. I would help fledgling businesses to start up and improve themselves. I would get out and see more of the world. And I would make sure that my family and friends were looked after too.

2. Money is just that - an object, so why aren't you doing it?
That is easier said than done but I will keep striving for it. Never give up is my motto along with crap I can't do this, haha.

3. Whats better, horses or cows?
I spent alot of my younger years on farms (my mum is/was a farmer's daughter) so I am more used to cows than horses.

4. What do you think the secret to happiness is?
Waking up in the mornings and knowing that you don't need anything more!

5. When was the last time you had a dream that you either remember well or did not want to awake from?
I have dreams all the time, but I always forget them a few seconds after I wake up. On the odd occassion I will remember a weird dream but most of the time I forget. Sorry what was the question again?!

6. When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Oh this is easy, I always wanted to be either an archeologist or a palentologist. Digging about in mud ..... lovely! lol.

7. Complete this statement: Love is...Never having to say ...
to your partner ... do you love me?

8. Can you tell a good story? (write one!)
I can WRITE really good stories. And if I run something through in my head a few times before hand I can tell a good story too. But definately not 'off the cuff'.

Can I add you to my links list???

TGP I could always delete my comment thus giving you more space! But then the world would be lost without a little gareth loving and blogging and there would ensue world violence and destruction. Not to mention Bloggerland falling into a state of disrepair and moral undervaluedness (yes it is a word!). So I will just keep it there so none of that stuff has a chance of happening ...... um!
